Cold Feet

Posted by Bob Barcus on November 18th, 2014

Winter weather has definitely come early! Needless to say, I'm not ready for this. Thankfully, I can just lay in my bed under my nice warm blankets while I write this blog post.

Today, I'll be taking a journey up to Mishawaka with my mother. After many trials and tribulations, she is finally having some surgery on her foot to get a painful planters wart removed.

The trip is more than a year in the making after multiple doctor examinations and numerous failed attempts to correct the problem. I just hope it gets done this time. She has been suffering with this condition for a long time and she deserves some relief!

The healthcare system in this country sucks. There I said it. Everything they do at the doctor's office or in the hospital is done to make money. Making people jump through hoops in order to get healthcare is ridiculous.

My mom's foot has been poked and prodded so many times without resolution that I can only assume that they enjoy making her suffer.
